My LOVE for yoga began many years ago and having completed the very highly regarded Yoga Campus Teacher Training (accrediated by the British Wheel of Yoga and Yoga Alliance), I feel it is an honour to teach a subject that I am so passionate about.
My INSPIRATION comes from many of the amazing teachers I have worked with; Internationally reknowned Astanga teacher Richard Freeman, Katrina Repka, Uma Dinsmore-Tuli, Sarah Litten and Jo Manual. My Main Teacher is Liz Lark whose vast knowledge and dynamic approach has shaped my own practise and my teaching style. Most recently I have worked with Shiva Rea, completing three of her week long intensives, her energy, enthusiasm and warmth is truly inspiring. For me is vital to keep learning, I will always be a student. I am currently studying a course with Rod Styker, 'the energetics of sequencing'.
My APPROACH is friendly and down to earth with creative, fun and fresh ideas about how to practice. Yoga has so much to offer, from increasing your flexibility and strength to gaining a deeper feeling of peace, calm and well being in your life.
I am also trained to teach yoga to children, course attended at The Special Yoga Centre in London with Jo Manual. I have also completed my Pregnancy Yoga teacher training with Uma Dinsmore-Tuli, a truly amazing, knowledgable and inspiring Yogini.
My most recent project was taking a group of intrepid yogi's to Kerala in southern India to teach a 10 day yoga retreat with restorative Ayurvedic treatments as part of the package. The experience was incredible and the words "life changing" echoed through the whole group. It was such an honour to lead this amazing group of people through a progressive and thorough yoga program. I live in Tunbridge Wells with my husband and three sons. I have yoga to thank for keeping me sane and grounded through the years since my first son was born over 15 years ago. My Granny practiced Sun Salutaions daily and lived until she was way into her 90's, I hope to do the same and share my practice with others along the way.
